Advocate Sanjay Singh, Spokesman of the Maharashtra BJP has written to the DGP calling upon a heightened vigilance and critical judgment in the face of claims that appear potentially misleading, the assertions made by one Vishal Moreshwar, a conman and a self proclaimed Pastor from Sanpada, Navi Mumbai.

Moreshwar in a Youtube video that was published in the year 2024 has claimed to have  attended a meeting alongside Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York on September 23, 2024. Singh asserted that such a claim, involving the name and presence of the Hon. Prime Minister of India, is a matter of serious public importance and cannot be taken lightly especially given the present context of geo politics it can be used as a toolkit.

Singh further said that any representation of association with the Hon. Prime Minister carries significant weight and influence, and therefore must be backed by verifiable evidence and credible documentation. In the absence of such proof, these assertions raise substantial concerns regarding their authenticity and intent. The apparent use of the Prime Minister’s name to bolster personal credibility is deeply troubling and warrants immediate and thorough scrutiny.

He has further said in the video that he is the only person in the world who was given the honour of preaching in the  US Senate, The White House and the Pentagon which itself sounds ridiculous. And if by any chance it’s a truth then in that case he must be examined as to what was the cost to get such a big opportunity and favour from the US authorities !!.

“This is not merely a question of personal exaggeration; it is an issue that touches upon accountability, and the responsible use of the names of high constitutional authorities. Claims of this nature, if unverified or false, have the potential to mislead the public, distort facts, and undermine institutional integrity”, Singh added.

It may be recalled that post 26/11 terror attack this same Vishal Moreshwar had helped his friend Kenneth Haywood, a US national from Navi Mumbai, a suspect then, to escape and the same was reported in the Mumbai Mirror(link attached below)

Adv. Singh concluded by saying that it is therefore imperative that such statements be independently examined and fact-checked with urgency as this is a serious matter. Those like Vishal Moreshwar who make public claims, especially ones involving the highest offices of the country, must be held to the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, and accountability. Any deviation from the truth, particularly in matters of this magnitude, cannot and should not go unquestioned.
