Kajol is an actress. She is one of the top 90s actresses who continues to be a fan favourite. Her debut film was Bekhudi (1992). Some of her best-known films include Baazigar (1993), Yeh Dillagi (1994), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998). In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Kajol revealed that she lost faith in god for a brief moment in her life.

Kajol On Losing Faith In God For A Brief Moment

When asked if she ever lost faith in God, Kajol said, “Huge, yes, I did, I did. And I won’t name the situation right now, but I did go through it, and it wasn’t a happy time. It was momentary—really momentary—but still, it was one of those points where I was just like, ‘Why? Why did this have to happen?’ Not in the sense of ‘Why me?’ but more like, ‘Why did this have to happen at all?’ It wasn’t about feeling singled out; it was more, ‘How could this happen to me, after all my faith, meri itni shraddha aur puja ke baad? Why on this day did it all fall apart?’”

She added, “So yes, I did go through that, for a certain time, I would say maybe for about a week. And then I kind of grounded myself again and thought, ‘No, there must be a reason. She must have thought of something. He must have thought of something. There must have been a reason, maybe they were against it, maybe it wasn’t meant to be.’ I don’t know, but I think somewhere, somehow, there was a reason. I figured it out later. But yes, it was not an easy phase, it was one week of deep pain and questioning.”
