With just hours left until Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal register their marriage and have a celebration thereafter, the pre-wedding festivities of the couple are in full swing. While the lovebirds hosted their Mehendi celebration last evening at the actress’ residence, Sonakshi was snapped earlier today performing a pre-wedding puja with her mother, Poonam Sinha, at the Sinha family residence – Ramayana. Ahead of her wedding to Zaheer Iqbal, Sonakshi Sinha attended a puja at her family residence, Ramayana. For the religious ceremony to seek divine blessing for her big day, the ‘Heeramandi’ actress dressed in a blue ethnic ensemble complete with a matching dupatta. Her mother opted for a kaftan suit and a complimenting red dupatta shawl. The mother-daughter duo were snapped exiting and re-entering the residence after performing the puja in the attached Mandir.

A while after the puja concluded, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha were captured leaving Ramayana in their car.
According to a post shared on social media by paparazzo Varinder Chawla, ‘Mallikajaan’ Manisha Koirala sent her ‘Heeramandi’ co-star a bouquet of flowers and a larger gift wrapped in a shiny gold cellophane paper.
Sonakshi-Zaheer wedding
As per reports circulating, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will register their marriage on June 23. This will be followed by a celebratory party at the South Mumbai eatery, Bastian, beginning at 8 pm. According to several media reports, Aayush Sharma, Huma Qureshi, Salman Khan and Honey Singh are invited for the celebration. The cast of Heeramandi, Daisy Shah, Poonam Dhillon and many more celebs from the fraternity will also attend the celebration.
