A 17-year-old boy in Kanpur’s Gujaini area was allegedly kidnapped and badly beaten by a group of local youths. According to the Times of India, they also forced him to drink urine and lick saliva, humiliating him. They beat him up and took Rs 6,000 from him. The attackers also recorded a video of the incident, and police are taking action.
The incident happened on June 25. The boy was at his cosmetic shop in Gujaini when he got a call from Deepak Pal, someone he knew who lived in Jarauli. Deepak asked him to come meet at Ram Gopal Chowk. The case is under investigation by Gujaini police.
The victim went to the location where Deepak was waiting with two others, Shantanu and Deekay. They took him to a room, beat him up badly, and forced him to do humiliating acts. They also recorded a video of the incident. Police have said that teams have been formed to catch the accused.

In another incident in May, also in Gujaini, a 21-year-old man and his 19-year-old girlfriend were beaten in public by the man’s parents. The video of this incident went viral on social media. Police said the young man, Rohit, was eating noodles with his girlfriend when his parents, Shivkaran and Sushila, saw them. They did not approve of the relationship and started hitting both of them. Videos showed Sushila pulling the girl’s hair, while bystanders tried to help. Rohit’s father was also seen hitting him with a slipper. This case was also handled by Gujaini police.
