In a fiery attack on the opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that the opposition ‘INDI alliance’ was hell-bent on to destroy the country’s culture and posed a massive threat to the Sanatan Dharma and the citizens of India who follow it.

The controversy surrounding Sanatan Dharma was started when DMK minister and son of Tamil Nadu CM, Udhaynidhi Stalin said that Sanatan Dharma was like Dengue and Malaria and needed to be eradicated from the society, following which many leaders from the INDIA bloc endorsed Stalin’s statement further attacked ‘Sanatan Dharma’. Following this, PM Modi told his council of ministers to give an appropriate response to the DMK leader’s statement.

“A few groups are working to divide the country and society… They have come together to form an INDI alliance. They have also decided on a hidden agenda to attack India’s culture. The INDI alliance has come with a resolution to end ‘Sanatan’ culture,” PM Modi said.

The Prime Minister moved on to criticise the INDI alliance for their intent to destroy Sanatan Dharma and attack the Indian society or India at large. Modi said that Sanatan Dharma had been a source of inspiration for many and said that a call to eradicate Sanatan must not go unanswered and the call has crossed a line that should not have been crossed.

“Today, they have openly started targeting Sanatana, tomorrow they will increase the attacks on us. All ‘Sanatanis’ across the country and the people who love our country will have to be alert. We will have to stop such people,” he added.

PM Modi referred to the opposition bloc as ‘INDI Alliance’

During the public rally which took place in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district, PM Modi referred to the opposition bloc as ‘INDI Alliance’ instead of the INDIA bloc and also called the alliance as a ‘ghamandia’ alliance which is hell bent on destroying ‘Sanatan Dharma’.
