Sharing the news on his official X account (formerly Twitter), RGV expressed his excitement, stating, “After SATYA, KAUN, and SHOOL, I’m thrilled to announce that @BajpayeeManoj and I are teaming up once again for a HORROR COMEDY—a genre neither of us has explored before. While I have tackled horror, gangsters, romance, political dramas, adventure, and thrillers, this will mark my first foray into horror comedy. The film is titled POLICE STATION MEIN BHOOT, with the tagline: You Can’t Kill The Dead.”

He elaborated on the concept, noting, “We typically run to the police for help when frightened, but where do the police turn when they’re scared themselves? The story kicks off after a deadly encounter, transforming a police station into a haunted location, resulting in the officers fleeing in fear from the ghosts of gangsters. With cutting-edge VFX and spine-chilling horror effects, POLICE STATION MEIN BHOOT will deliver a fun-filled experience that is sure to terrify you.”
